If Fay tracks south, the chances for rain decrease substantially. We will continue to watch Fay and make a determination between 12 and 2 pm. Kudos to you, Olebloo for suggesting it, and to everyone who has worked to make it come about. This could come to be a tradition as great as the Bluff Park Art Show. Title: Re: all for one invitation Post by Bluff Park Guy on 08/23/08 at 2:41pm I don't know how much leeway we have with dates for rescheduling the party but I am a little worried next Saturday may not be the best time to have the party if we would like to get a lot of participation. Obviously it is Labor Day weekend and many people may be out of town and you also have to consider that college football starts next weekend and Alabama plays on TV at 7pm and Auburn's game is at 6pm. I know it is hard to reschedule stuff like this but thought I would throw this out there as an FYI. |

Sorry Fay picked this one weekend out of the entire season to slowly crawl through the area, but I'm glad to hear that it's being postponed, rather than moved inside today - I really think all the great outdoor-oriented activities you guys lined up will be a big draw, and was afraid that moving inside and giving those up would make folks just decide to stay home. Thanks again for giving Bluff Park something else to be proud of. |
