Has anyone else received your tax notice and it looks completely out of whack? I called them and they said they have gotten a lot of phone calls, and the computer isn't showing people's homestead exemption.... >:(

Well I just got in touch with the accesor's office finally and they said that they were going to check into it, and I would receive a letter in the mail about it...

So i guess I'll have to wait to see how that works out.

I feel sorry for other people though, that might now know they are being douped by a faulty computer.

That's one way to pay for the sewers.....dupe the unsuspecting homeowners!

What I noticed was the Storm Water fee...that seems new...or I am unobservant.
I did have a value in the Homestead section.
And I did protest the amount back in July and just got a letter that due to computer problems (hmmmm)that if it was going to be adjusted they would let me know in December and then I would get credit....you know...I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today!
