Remeber to get your flu shot! Need on every year. And no, you can't get the flu from the flu shot.

Walgreens in Hoover on Highway 150 is giving flu and pneumonia vaccines Wed. October 15th from 10am-4pm...Medicare (Part B) will cover and some private insurances will cover. Otherwise its $24.99 for a flu shot and $39.99 for a pneumonia shot. Appointments encouraged but not required.

All other Walgreens are offering them too, but here are some times for stores close to Bluff Park.

Greensprings Tuesday Oct. 14th 10am-2pm
Vestavia Hills Thursday Novemeber 13th 12pm-4pm (other times available by appointment)

Chapel in the Pines Church will be offering flu shots on Saturday, November 1st from 9a 'til 1p. $25 for flu shots and $40 for pneumonia shots. Shots are free to all those with Medicare B. You must bring your insurance card. Contact Ann at 822-3223 for additional information.

I can't the flu shot because of allergies, but I really appreciate those that do!!

Just a reminder...flu shots at Hoover Walgreens on 150 Tuesday Oct. 15th 10am-4pm
