I have a slight issue, the house behind me sold to some young galls, some are renting rooms and I think one is the owner of the home.

I was told that they would be getting a privacy fence built and they wanted to have it go all the way around the property (taking down the chain link fence on the back and 2 sides) I do not want the chain-link taken down on my end because that is all I have all the way around my property. Does anyone know what the duel ownership of the line is like in the area?? I would think that they would have to build the privacy fence inside their property line. What is the coding on fences in Hoover.. or do we have one?

Make sure they have a building permit for the fence. That way they have to meet and get the OK of the City before they build anything. They have to take a property survey down to City hall and map out what they want to do and get the building inspectors blessing. If it were me I would call the building inspector now and get the code on the set backs.
