I tried Google- but can't tell the used book stores from the rare and collectible ones.

Does anyone have a good rec? I want to sell or swap and browse...... reading is a great way to stay warm on these windy evenings!

There used to be a used paperback store in the old Walmart shopping center in Hoover. I think it was called Paperbacks. I don"t know if it is still there.

Hoover library has a great place to buy books and they are really cheap. I think they only sell the books and take donations. but I am not sure.

There used to be a great swap/buy used book store in Vestavia by Vestavia High School and the Western Supermarket.
