Received from the Hoover PD:

"Breaking and Entering Vehicle" Alert for Neighborhoods in the Western Hoover Area:

Over the past several days, there have been numerous incidents of "breaking and entering vehicles" in western areas of Hoover. In many of these cases, valuables taken were left in unlocked vehicles. At the present time, there are no suspects and no description of any suspect vehicle(s) involved.

This alert is sent as a reminder to remove valuables e.g., cell phones, purses, GPS devices, etc. from your vehicle while remembering to also lock your vehicle.
