Hoover PD will be hosting a Neighborhood Watch/Crime Prevention meeting for the Farley Road general area (including but not limited to, Farley Road, Farley Terrace, Farley Place, Farley Drive, Chapel Road, Martinwood subdivision, Avanti area) on Monday, Aug. 30, 2010 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Bluff Park Community Center (by the pool). Everyone is invited to attend.

Do you know how to reduce your chances of being a victim of Burglary, Identity Theft, and other crimes?

Did you know that a Neighborhood Watch is proven to be the most effective way to prevent crime in a neighborhood or apartment complex?

If you couldn’t answer yes to both questions, please join Hoover Police Officer Brian Foreman at a Crime Prevention Meeting for your area. He will provide the Calls for Service that relate to your area for the previous year, bring crime prevention handouts, explain how you start a neighborhood watch, and provide other crime prevention tips.

WHEN: Monday, August 30th, 2010 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
