Good morning--
I have jsut recently learned of some frightening news about break ins into peoples homes on Shades Crest road near Mr P's .
I also understand that this has been going on for some time and I fault myself for not being informed about this sooner as I live int eh area.
It is my understnading that poeple are kicking in front doors to gain access---THAT IS EXTREMELY BOLD IN MY OPINION....

Does anyone have more info on these happenings and is there action being taken to help reduce this crime..

There are several Neighborhood Watch groups on Shades Crest. I would suggest that you call officer Foreman and see who the Neighborhood Watch Captain is for the block you are in and get with that person (s)

Does Hoover police publish a list of break-ins, home invasions, etc.? It would be helpful to the neighborhood to have such information.

I think they have a section in the news paper once a week when they send out the neighborhood sections. Or at least they used to.
