Catch Absolutely Alabama tonight on Fox6 WBRC. They are featuring Artists on the Bluff and local Bluff Park artists.

From Fred Hunter on Facebook: Absolutely Alabama is all about discovering people and places you never knew were there and we're always surprised by the incredible talent we find right here in our state. This week there's a visit with Artists On The Bluff at Bluff Park in Hoover, a "re-purposed" facility which served for many years as Bluff Park Elementary. Artists On The Bluff is now home to many area artists who have their studios there and hosts numerous art shows throughout the year. Jayne Morgan one of the artists in residence is known as The Honey Bear Lady and you can probably figure out why. In addition to [painters you'll find wood workers, photographers, and decorative interior artists like Rik Lazenby in residence. Rik is teaming with a former student, Barry Graham, now a successful artist in his own right, for a two man show at Artists on The Bluff beginning April 6. You'll meet them all on this week's Absolutely Alabama.
