Today I received a knock on my door (Hawksbury down from the pool) at around 7:15am.  I answered the door and there was a man in his mid 20's at the door.  He handed me my paper and said "Here is your Birmingham News.  It was laying in your yard"  I said thank you and took it from him and then he walked back out to his car (small sedan metallic orange in color) that was parked in the street and pulled away.  This may be a new service of the Birmingham news or this may have just been a nice individual, but it just struck me as odd.  I could somewhat understand if he happened to be walking by and he saw my paper getting wet, but to stop your car and get out to knock on someone's door before 8 to give them their paper in a drizzling rain is odd.  Just thought I would post.
