The Hoover Police Department partnering with the Hoover Super Target would like to invite you to participate in the 2010 National Night Out on Tuesday August 3rd from 6:00pm until 8:00pm .  National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and encourage participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are fighting back.
 
 
 
Festivities include a cookout sponsored by Target and displays by the Hoover Police Department. Join us on August 3, 2010 and meet your Neighborhood Crime Prevention Officers and have yourself and your children fingerprinted as a part of your family safety plan. The Police Department will be displaying the Mobile Command Center , SWAT team members will be on hand to show their truck and equipment, and the Hoover PD Motorcycle officers will be demonstrating the skills necessary to ride a police motorcycle.  
 
 
 
The Super Target is located at the Grove Shopping Center off Highway 150 at I459 in Hoover .
