Value of Neighborhood Watch
Message:

A well organized, comprehensive Neighborhood Watch program is one of the most effective weapons in our crime fighting arsenal. It brings law enforcement and the citizens together to reduce crime. The Neighborhood Watch program is dependent on citizen’s participation and there cooperation with law enforcement to reduce crime and terrorism in our communities.

The key element of an effective Neighborhood Watch program is for participants to responsibly report all suspicious persons and activities to local law enforcement.
By reporting suspicious persons and activities in your neighborhood to the authorities, you give law enforcement probable cause to approach those individuals and ask them their business. Criminals and terrorists know that otherwise, they can move through our neighborhoods, cities, states and country unrestricted, committing crime with impunity.

* An effective Neighborhood Watch program can put the neighbor back into neighborhood by creating a sense of community.
* By working with law enforcement, you become an active partner in protecting your community.
* A functional Neighborhood Watch program allows the concerns of the community to be addressed which improves quality of life for everyone.
