My kitty, Sinatra, left home the day before
Thanksgiving. I'm sure he is in the neigborhood and
want to help him return home.
Hi is a neutered male kitty, about 8 years old, very
gentle and about 19 pounds when he left home. A picture
is attached. His home near Park Ave. and Chapel Rd.

Crest Baptist Church 12th Annual High Country 5K
Shades
Crest Baptist Church
will hold its 12th Annual High Country 5K on Saturday, April 6,
2013 at 8:00am. There will be a free kids' Fun Run at 9:00am.
The 2nd Annual Elementary School Team Challenge for Hoover
elementary schools will also be part of the event.
Pre-registration is $20 prior to March 23rd, $25 between March
23 and April 5, and $30 on Race Day. Entrance fee includes:
t-shirt for the runner, pre-race pasta dinner on Friday night,
April 5th, catered by California Pizza Kitchen, and a post-race
pancake breakfast during the Award's Ceremony for the runners
and their families. Cash prizes for the top 3 male and female
runners will be given! Attached is a registration form and more
information. Registration is available through

| Hoover Historical Society
meets the third Tuesday September through May at Hoover Community School in Bluff Park. Meetings are at 1:30 P.M.
We have a published book "History of Hoover, Alabama".
We also have a Folklore Center located on Cloudland Drive behind Bluff Park School. This center consists of a 1840's log cabin and other buildings of the era. The log cabin contains period furnishings. Volunteers have programs for 1st and 3rd grade classes by appointment.
