Get those recipes ready for the 2011 Chili Cook-Off on Jan 30th!!!
This year we salute our American Heros! Our Veterans, Policemen, Firemen, and those that answer the call of help in a time of need. We would like to thank them for all their sacrifices and their inspiring influences on our children. Chili Categories this year will be "Best All Around Chili"�, "Hottest chili"�, and "Most Original Chili"�. There will also be a youth category of "Best All Around Chili"� Additional Categories will be "Best Cookies"� and "Best Cornbread"�. In addition to the ribbons and prizes awarded this year we will have some Fabulous door prizes!!! We will draw for the door prizes at 5:45pm. You do not have to be present to win. Tickets will be $5 per person with a $15 max (3 tickets) per family, and includes sampling of chili, mild chili by Joe, and hot dogs. Please have your entry in the Fellowship Hall by 4:45pm as judging will start promptly at 5:00pm by some of our Honored Heros! You can drop off as early as 4:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. Outlets will be available for crock pots if needed.
