Found 2 dogs on 18April2011
04/18/11 at 7:17am

Two dogs came up to me after my morning jog.  I have both of them in my backyard now.  They are both older, and obviously cared for, but have no collars.

One is very large and fluffy; it is tan and looks almost shepherd mix.  The other is smaller, black with white feet.  They are both friendly, although the black one is a little shy.

I don't know how to attach a picture.

If you know who these dogs belong to, or if they are yours, please contact me.

Thank you.

If you will email me a photo I can put it up for you. Also if you want to take them to Bluff Park Animal Clinic or Alford Avenue Vet Hospital they can scan them for micro chips.

Hi All-
Our neighbor up the street gave us an update on the dogs.

The two dogs had escaped from our fenced back yard, were picked up by Hoover Animal Control, and they were reunited with their owner, who had been searching.  This is great news.

Also, a reminder to everyone (even myself) that it is important to have a collar or microchip or some identification on your dogs/pets, in case they decide to go on a walkabout.
