Flu season is approaching!! Get your flu shot!!
 
The Walgreens in Pelham (corner of Valleydale and Hwy 31) will be offering Flu and Pneumonia vaccines on Thursday Oct. 11th from 8am-2pm.  The Vestavia Hills Walgreens will be doing their clinic on October 30th from 4pm-8pm. Walgreens Greensprings will be giving them on November 1 from 9am-1pm. Flu shots are 24.99 and pneumonia is 39.99. They can bill Medicare if you are covered under Part B and possible bill your insurance company depending on your plan (some plans only cover vaccines under major medical, not prescription). You do NOT need a prescription from you physician to get a vaccine. But you may want to call and set up an appointment before the Oct. 11th clinic.
