We've been in touch with some leading meteorologists in Birmingham and have been advised that the odds of it raining between 5 pm and 9 pm tonight are good, BUT it really all depends on how Fay tracks over the next couple of hours.  If Fay tracks south, the chances for rain decrease substantially.  We will continue to watch Fay and make a determination between 12 and 2 pm.  If you are scheduled to have a display and/or booth at the event, please feel free to send us an e-mail at info@bluffparkal.org for any other information.

I think that's the best plan.  I will be unable to attend because I will be out of town.  But this is a great thing.  Kudos to you, Olebloo for suggesting it, and to everyone who has worked to make it come about.  This could come to be a tradition as great as the Bluff Park Art Show.  We are a community working together.  

I was thinking the same thing.  Not a football fan, but the holiday will keep me from attending.  Could it possibly be two weeks from today?

That sure works for me.  I love hearing the rain out there, but I hate it happened today.

Any upcoming weekend will be great - whenever it finally happens, we'll be there!  Sorry Fay picked this one weekend out of the entire season to slowly crawl through the area, but I'm glad to hear that it's being postponed, rather than moved inside today - I really think all the great outdoor-oriented activities you guys lined up will be a big draw, and was afraid that moving inside and giving those up would make folks just decide to stay home.  Thanks again for giving Bluff Park something else to be proud of.

Has anyone posted a notice, or flyers, or something to let anyone who shows up know it's still on, just not today?  I doubt anyone will show up in this weather, so it probably doesn't matter.
