A reminder, with New Year’s Eve this week, our officers will, as always, be looking for DUI drivers.   We have seen too many instances state-wide of lives changed in an instant due to a bad decision.  
 
I'd like to emphasize that Hoover residents are a vital part of our overall Law Enforcement efforts.  If they see anything suspicious, do not hesitate to call the Hoover Police Department.  Don’t assume that criminals take holidays off; always be vigilant, both in their neighborhoods, out shopping, and travelling.
 
I would like to wish everyone a safe New Years holiday.
