Join AAA, Hoover PD, Vestavia PD, and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for a FREE VIN glass etching event open to everyone!  On Thursday, May 17th, we will be at the AAA headquarters located at 2400 Acton Road from 1 to 5 PM.  VIN etching is a process where your vehicle’s VIN is etched into the windshield of your vehicle.  This process is designed to make your vehicle less attractive to a car thief or “chop shop” and can cost over $100.00 in some locations.  Additional crime prevention information will be available as well.  Contact Officer Brian Foreman at (205) 739-6870 or foremanr@ci.hoover.al.us if you have any questions.
