We received this e-mail today from Rebecca Walden, Community Editor, The Hoover Sun:
 
In the next issue of the Hoover Sun, we are writing a feature story about Hoover residents who have out-of-the-ordinary Christmas traditions.  For example: Do you donate your presents to a homeless shelter?  Do you spend Christmas Eve serving food at a soup kitchen?  Do you have Christmas dinner at an unusual restaurant?  Anything other than the traditional Christmas stuff [like a family dinner on Christmas Eve, opening presents around the tree, etc.] is what we are looking for.  
 
If you or someone you know who lives in Hoover fits this bill, please let me know ASAP.  I’m working on a very quick deadline...and sorry for the short notice.
