Internet Crime Schemes
03/26/13 at 12:21pm

Internet crime schemes steal millions of dollars from victims every year.  Identity theft, fake lotteries, credit card fraud, spam, and debt elimination fraud are all examples of schemes that are waiting for unsuspecting victims.  What is the best way to prevent yourself from becoming a victim?  Be informed and follow good prevention tips.
The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National White Collar Crime Center.  IC3 has some excellent crime prevention tips at the link below so we encourage you to take a little time to review their recommendations and learn about some of the different types of schemes that are out there.  Take care and be cautious.
