Marjorie Hale Hillhouse
 
 
August 7, 1919 – October 25, 2014
 
 
Marjorie, age 95, lifelong resident of Bluff Park, AL passed away October 25th. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother to her husband and children. She could organize anything and everything to her standards. Marjorie was a member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church, and her ancestors were among the first settlers of Bluff Park. Hale Springs was named after her family. She is predeceased by her husband of 32 years, James Hugh Hillhouse Sr., her parents, and sister. Marjorie is survived by her three children; James Hugh Hillhouse, Jr. (Deborah) of Decatur, AL; Hale Hillhouse (Donna) of Kingsport, TN; and Marjo Gann (Tommy) of Hoover, AL. Marjorie was blessed with the companionship and care of Vickie Smith in her last years. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jim Hillhouse, Sarah Thornton, Brian Hillhouse, Hugh Hillhouse, Chip Gann, and Cacey Gann; and eight great grandchildren.
 
 
The family will receive friends Monday, October 27th from 12:30 to2:00 PM at Elmwood Chapel with a chapel service to immediately follow.
