Coyote Spotted on Rockland Dr.
07/15/09 at 5:21pm

Hey ya'll,
Two weeks ago last Friday MORNING(!) I saw a coyote
drinking out of our birdbath!
He stayed for about 5 minutes taking his own sweet time.
He then sat around the yard for a few minutes and so I
had plenty of time to tell it was a coyote , not some real
thin, short haired dog.
We have spotted him ( or another one previously) during the
MORNING!
This happened on the July 4th weekend.
We called Animal Control and got a pre-recorded message.
We didn't know what else to do so we are posting it here.
Sorry it took me a week to get this up.
Thanks!

My boys and I saw a coyote about a month ago on Farley Rd.  I couldn't believe my eyes.  We too got a good look at it.  This one was a little thin with matted hair.  Maybe there are two.

Is anyone else plagued with raccoons?  I have had two relocated - and just as soon a one is gone, another one shows up.  I swear, it is like the go around the corner and let them loose.

I haul in the bird feeders at night - but the little bandits are coming out during the day - which I though was unusual.

Hey Mrs. B,
We have lots of raccoons at our house. Once we almost let it
thinking it was our cat!
We have our bird feeder outside of one of our 2 story windows
and climb the ladder to put bird food in it or else they and the
squirrels would hog it all.

#3  Rocy Raccoon is waiting in my carport for Creature Catchers - or something like that - to come pick up and relocate.

I have a run off creek that runs next to property line and it always has water and I know that is an attractive nuisance.

Between raccoons and grackles and huge black birds, it is hard for the little birds to get a square meal.

I am amazed how strong they are - this little one has twisted the carry handle on the Havaheart Trap completly off.  Hate for one to get hold of my finger!

Wow! Mrs. B.!
They twisted the handle off of the trap?! That is some kind of strong!
Yes, the birds sure have to work hard to get some food, don't they!
